I've been thinking of late on the manner in which we perceive our own art compared to how it is perceived and received by others. It made me curious as to how you see your own art, given that only you are privy to the entire creative process that happens both on the screen/paper etc and within your own mind. I'm sure because of that you see your own art differently to how others do the same of it. What is it that you see in your own work that they don't?

Where do you think it is going?

inb4: "Into the trash".

This is a list of things that I have found useful and or beneficial to my development as an artist, creative, and sometimes as a person, through building a visual library or creating and reinforcing principles. This is not a list of recommendations and I am not telling you the reader that these things are guaranteed to make you 'git gud' at "art". This is merely a list of things that I have at a time, enjoyed or found in some small way delightful as aides to my growth. Similarly, do not assume that because I haven't included something that I am dismissing it.
The list is subject to change and I may add or subtract things as I feel necessary to do so.
